Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Data Lingo Solutions LLC, doing business as Logue AI ("Logue AI," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects your Personal Information when you use the Logue AI meeting assistant application (the "App").
For purposes of this Policy, "Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household.
When you use the App, you acknowledge that we collect, process, use, and store Personal Information as described in this Policy.
If you are a California resident, Section 7 includes additional information about your rights. If you are a resident of another state with an applicable privacy law, Section 8 describes additional rights that may apply to you.
If you do not agree with this Policy, you should not use the App. You may exercise your rights concerning your Personal Information as described below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect and use the following categories of Personal Information.
Information You Provide to Us
Registration and Account Information. Logue AI uses your phone number to create and authenticate your account. We may send a one-time verification code ("OTP") to your phone number to verify that you have access to it.
You may also provide an email address and name or display name as part of your profile. If you provide an email address, we may send an OTP to that address to verify that you have access to it. We use your email address to verify your email and to send important communications about Logue AI. We do not use your email address for marketing at this time.
Professional Information. You may voluntarily provide your profession in your profile. We use this information to provide relevant professional terminology and context to improve transcription and AI-generated outputs. We do not use Audio Recordings or Calendar Information to create or infer a professional or employment profile about you.
Audio Recordings and Transcriptions. When you use the App, you may provide Audio Recordings to Logue AI. We process Audio Recordings to generate transcriptions, speaker-separated transcripts, summaries, notes, search capabilities, and other outputs requested through the App.
Voice Samples. You may voluntarily provide Voice Samples to help Logue AI identify known speakers in recordings. You may associate a name or other label with a Voice Sample. Voice Samples and associated names or labels are stored by Logue AI until you delete them or they are otherwise deleted in accordance with this Policy. Voice Samples are optional. You can use Logue AI without providing Voice Samples.
Additional information about how Voice Samples are used for speaker identification is provided in Section 3.
Calendar Information. If you choose to enable calendar-related features, the App may access information associated with your calendar events, including meeting times, event titles, attendee information, and meeting notes. Calendar Information may include Personal Information about you and other meeting participants.
We use Calendar Information to provide meeting-related features, including recording reminders, associating recordings with meetings, and providing relevant context for Logue AI processing.
Calendar attendee information may be transmitted to Logue AI but is not transmitted to our AI Service Providers. Relevant meeting notes and other meeting context may be transmitted to AI Service Providers when needed to process your request.
Communications and Support Information. When you contact us or choose to submit a problem report, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, a description of the issue, device logs, or other information you choose to provide.
Payment Information. When you purchase a processing-time package or other paid service, payment information is collected directly by our payment processor, Stripe. Logue AI does not receive or store your payment card information. We receive information about transactions necessary to provide purchased services, such as the product purchased, transaction status, price, and an internal account identifier.
Information You Provide About Others
Audio Recordings, Calendar Information, Voice Samples, meeting notes, and other information you provide to Logue AI may contain Personal Information relating to other people, including voices, names, contact information, or information discussed during meetings.
You are responsible for providing notices and obtaining permissions or consents required by applicable law before recording others or providing their Personal Information to Logue AI.
Information We Automatically Collect
Device Information. When you use the App, we collect limited information about your device and application environment. This may include a device identifier derived from Apple's Identifier for Vendor (IDFV), device model and device type, operating system and operating system version, App version, device locale, and certain device or App configuration information useful for compatibility, accessibility, troubleshooting, and support.
We use this information to authenticate and validate requests, maintain compatibility with supported devices and App versions, troubleshoot problems, and operate the App. We do not collect advertising identifiers such as IDFA for advertising or tracking.
IP Address. Our servers receive your IP address when your device communicates with the App. We use IP addresses for rate limiting, security, fraud and abuse prevention, and operation of the App. IP addresses may also appear in operational server logs. We do not use your IP address to determine or infer your geographic location.
Push Notification Information. If push notifications are enabled, we receive and store a push-notification token associated with your account so that notifications can be delivered to your device.
Recording and Usage Information. We collect information necessary to operate and measure use of the App, including recording timestamps, recording counts, recording duration, data size, processing usage, transaction information, and similar service-usage information. We do not use third-party analytics services to track your activity in the App, and we do not maintain a clickstream of your interactions with the App.
Location Information
Logue AI does not collect precise or approximate location information from your device. The App does not use device location services, and we do not infer your location from your IP address.
Information Received from Third Parties
We receive transaction information from Stripe relating to purchases and refunds made through Stripe.
We may also receive operational information from service providers as necessary to deliver communications, notifications, and other App functionality.
We may create aggregated statistics from information collected through the App. Aggregated information that cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual is not treated as Personal Information under this Policy. If aggregated information is combined with Personal Information in a manner that identifies an individual, we treat the combined information as Personal Information.
2. How We Use Your Personal Information
Create and maintain your account. We use your phone number, account information, device information, and authentication information to register, authenticate, secure, and maintain your account.
Verify your contact information. We may send OTPs to your phone number or email address to confirm that you have access to them.
Provide the App's features. We process Audio Recordings, transcriptions, Calendar Information, Voice Samples, professional information, and other information you provide to deliver the features you request, including transcription, speaker diarization and identification, summaries, notes, semantic search, meeting reminders, and other AI-powered features.
Improve transcription and AI-generated outputs. If you voluntarily provide your profession, we use it to provide relevant terminology and context that may improve transcription and AI-generated outputs.
Provide relevant meeting context. When calendar-related features are enabled, we may use event information, attendee information, and meeting notes to associate recordings with meetings and improve the relevance of Logue AI features. Calendar attendee information is processed by Logue AI and is not transmitted to AI Service Providers. Relevant meeting notes and other meeting context may be provided to AI Service Providers when needed to process your request.
Operate, secure, and improve the App. We use device information, IP addresses, usage information, and operational information to maintain the App, understand overall service usage, troubleshoot problems, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and performance.
Communicate with you. We use your contact information to respond to support requests and to send important account or service-related communications about Logue AI. At this time, we do not use your email address to send marketing communications or newsletters.
Prevent fraud and enforce our terms. We use relevant Personal Information to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or other activity that threatens the security or integrity of the App and to enforce our Terms of Service and other policies.
Comply with legal obligations. We may use Personal Information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests.
No AI Model Training
We do not use your Audio Recordings, transcriptions, Voice Samples, Calendar Information, professional information, or other Personal Information to train or fine-tune AI or machine-learning models.
3. Voice Samples and Speaker Identification
Voluntary Voice Samples
Logue AI provides an optional feature that allows you to provide a Voice Sample and associate a name or label with it. This allows Logue AI to recognize a known speaker when that person's voice appears in a later recording.
Providing Voice Samples is voluntary. Logue AI does not require Voice Samples in order to record, transcribe, summarize, or otherwise process a conversation.
How Speaker Identification Works
When speaker identification is performed, Logue AI may temporarily compute a mathematical representation of voice characteristics from a Voice Sample and compare it with voice characteristics detected in a recording.
This processing is used to determine whether a speaker in the recording matches a Voice Sample that has previously been provided to Logue AI.
The mathematical voice representation used for this comparison is generated during processing and is not retained as a persistent voiceprint or stored in a biometric-identification database.
Logue AI stores the Voice Sample itself and any name or label you associate with it until you delete the Voice Sample or it is otherwise deleted in accordance with this Policy.
Other Speakers in Recordings
Logue AI may perform speaker diarization to distinguish different speakers in a recording, such as "Speaker 1" and "Speaker 2."
A person is not enrolled as a known speaker merely because their voice appears in an Audio Recording. Logue AI does not create and retain a persistent voiceprint or speaker profile for every person whose voice appears in a recording.
Purpose
Voice Samples and temporary voice representations are used only to provide speaker-identification functionality requested through the App.
Disclosure
Voice Samples and the temporary voice representations generated from them for speaker identification are processed within Logue AI's infrastructure and are not transmitted to our external AI Service Providers for speaker identification.
We do not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from Voice Samples or voice representations.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have any permissions or consents required by applicable law before providing a Voice Sample belonging to another person.
4. With Whom We Disclose Personal Information
We disclose Personal Information to service providers only as necessary to operate and provide the App, and as otherwise described below.
Cloud Infrastructure Providers. We use cloud infrastructure providers, including Amazon Web Services ("AWS"), for computing, data storage, encryption, and related infrastructure services.
AI Service Providers. We use AI Service Providers, including OpenAI, to provide certain transcription, summarization, text-processing, semantic-search, and other AI-powered capabilities.
Depending on how a recording is processed, an Audio Recording may be transmitted to an AI Service Provider for transcription. Other relevant content, including transcription text, meeting notes, meeting context, participant or speaker names included in the processed content, and search-query text, may also be transmitted to an AI Service Provider when necessary to provide the feature you request.
Calendar attendee information is not transmitted to AI Service Providers. Voice Samples used for speaker identification and the temporary voice representations generated from those Voice Samples for speaker identification are not transmitted to AI Service Providers.
We require our AI Service Providers to protect information provided to them for processing in accordance with our agreements with them.
Communication Service Providers. We use service providers to deliver communications. This includes providers that deliver SMS messages, email messages, and push notifications.
These providers receive information necessary to deliver the communication. Depending on the service, this may include your phone number, email address, name, OTP code, push-notification token, and the content of a notification or transactional message.
Push notifications relating to a recording may contain the recording name or title. Information displayed in a push notification may therefore be visible on your device according to your device's notification and privacy settings.
Payment Processor. We use Stripe to process purchases and refunds. Payment information is provided directly by you to Stripe through Stripe's payment interface. Logue AI does not receive or store your payment card information. Stripe may process Personal Information in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Legal and Safety Disclosures. We may disclose Personal Information to law enforcement agencies, public authorities, courts, or other parties when required by applicable law or legal process, or when we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation; enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements; detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Logue AI, our users, or others.
Change of Corporate Ownership. If Logue AI or Data Lingo Solutions LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, Personal Information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
No Sale or Behavioral Advertising
We do not sell your Personal Information.
We do not share your Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
We do not use third-party advertising or analytics services to track your activity in the App.
5. How Long We Store Your Information
We retain Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App and related services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, maintain the security and integrity of the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Audio Recordings, transcriptions, Voice Samples, Calendar Information associated with recordings, and other user-controlled content are retained while needed to provide the App's features and may be deleted through features made available in the App.
When you request deletion of your account or Personal Information, we will delete or de-identify the applicable Personal Information as reasonably necessary to fulfill your request, subject to information that must be retained for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, operational, legal, or regulatory purposes.
Some information may remain temporarily in operational logs, backups, or other systems after deletion from active systems. Such information will not be used for purposes inconsistent with this Policy and will be removed or overwritten in accordance with our operational processes.
Payment information is retained by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's own policies.
